URGENT HIRING NOTICE

Our last front-end developer left to "find themselves" (they're working at Meta now). Our CEO has been trying to fix CSS bugs by randomly adding !important tags. Please help before our entire UI collapses like a house of cards.

Front-End Developer

Remote (we can't afford an office)

Responsibilities:

  • Fix our entire codebase that's held together with duct tape and Stack Overflow answers
  • Make our UI look like we actually know what we're doing
  • Implement features that our CEO promised to investors without consulting the tech team
  • Pretend our "blockchain integration" is real and not just localStorage with extra steps
  • Debug CSS issues across 17 different browsers including Netscape Navigator
  • Respond to 3AM Slack messages marked as "urgent" (they're all marked as "urgent")

Requirements:

  • 15+ years experience with React (yes, we know React is only 10 years old)
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and mind-reading
  • Experience with Next.js, Tailwind, and working under crushing deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal direction (our product team quit last month)
  • Strong problem-solving skills (our entire company is a problem to solve)
  • Patience of a saint and the work ethic of at least three people
